TWILA: October 23, 2026
From the cotton gins in East Carroll Parish to the cattle pastures of Rapides Parish, we're covering plenty of ground on this week's TWILA! We take a behind-the-scenes look at Louisiana's cotton industry as growers wrap up harvest and face rising operational costs. Then, we head to Albany, where one company is finding innovative ways to turn wood waste into renewable energy and agricultural products. Plus, more than 120 students get their hands dirty learning about Louisiana's wetlands through an LSU AgCenter educational program. We've also got a brand-new Feasting on Agriculture, where Allie Shipley visits Rachel and Robert Duncan's family farm to learn about their cattle operation and cut flower farm before heading into the kitchen to make beef fajitas using their own farm-raised beef.
